We hope you like this website and find it useful. We have provided facilities for you to add items of your own. However, the site is maintained voluntarily and so it's necessary to be clear about what facilities can or cannot be provided. Any restrictions or stipulations indicated below arise simply from the need  to keep maintenance work for  the site to a reasonable level.

.... SUBMIT A PHOTOGRAPH?

If you have a special photograph related to Faropark or the surrounding area and you would like others to see it on the internet, you can submit it for inclusion on the site. The general aim should be to try to make the filesize reasonably small by, for example, reducing the size of the photo using an image editing program and saving in compressed (say compression factor of 70%)   . jpeg form. So you should aim at a photo of say 700 pixels wide and a maximum filesize of approximately 35KB. This should give a reasonable download time!

Send the photograph file to the webmaster - address below and substitute @ for at - in the body of an email or as an email attachment - with your name and villa number, together with a short title or comment. Indicate how much of your contact details you wish to appear on the site.

Sorry but no translation service will be provided. The webmaster will use his discretion in deciding the number of photographs that can reasonably be accommodated, both on the site and from the same individual.

.... INSERT A NOTICE BOARD ITEM?

There has been a suggestion that it would be a good idea to have a way of publishing  announcements, items for sale or or for free! etc. So this is the purpose of the Noticeboard. 

The general requirements are those indicated above for submission of photographs. Send the item in an email, or as an attachment,  to the webmaster. Include contact details and indicate any details that you don't want to appear on the website. A photograph may be useful. All communications must be between yourself and those responding to the noticeboard item and so each must provide contact details to the other. The webmaster's involvement is limited to publishing the item on the site. Again, no translation will be provided.

IMPORTANT: Please let the webmaster know when the insert is no longer needed, when it can be erased. Items that seem to be out of date will be deleted after a reasonable time (say 3 months). Prior to deletion, an attempt will be made to contact the originator but this can't be guaranteed. It is always possible to reinsert a deleted item.

.... REPORT A WEBSITE ERROR?

Email the webmaster with details sufficient to allow the error to be identified unambiguously.

Any suggestions for improvements to the website, or requests for additional features, may need approval and agreement by the Community Officers. Only when this is done will the change be implemented.

IMPORTANT

The facility to add your own items to the site is provided as a service that has been suggested by owners. While every effort will be made to insert items as requested, the webmaster will use his discretion in editing the attachment for size and brevity as seems appropriate at the time.

Submitted items will be dealt with as soon as reasonably possible but no responsibility will be taken for delays in insertion. Generally the insertion will be carried out by copying and pasting. Any errors in the submission will thus be reproduced in the website.

As a general rule, no translation service will be offered and insertions will be included in the language in which they are provided. If you would like a multi-language insertion then this must be provided by yourself.
