Dear Owners,

It is pleasing to report very little damage was evident on our complex from the late January / February storms that caused immense damage in other areas of Playa Blanca. After every half-term break we have been faced with problems relating to the drainage system and the sewage pumps. These are very expensive items to replace and have serviced, and we can only once again emphasise to owners to make their guests aware that only
natural waste should go down the toilets.

A number of Villas have been painted with a shade other than the correct Faro Park colour. Whilst it is appreciated owners are maintaining their property, please in future obtain the correct shade available from the show house - 55 euros interior and 45 euros exterior per 15 litre tubs.

However, there are some villas which are in need of immediate maintenance and we would draw owners’ attention to maintain their villas to a respectable standard expected by visitors and any potential purchasers of villas.

The financial position is steadily improving while at the same time continuing
improvements to the site and preventative maintenance in all areas is ongoing. Sadly, after no response from telephone calls and e-mails, the Board instigated legal proceedings against an owner to recoup monies outstanding.

The letter to commence legal action at court can be viewed in the notice boards.

We have a few new owners on our complex; we welcome them and we request they make themselves aware of the community rules. Again we would emphasise that garden rubbish goes to the Punto Limpo site on the way to Femmes and not placed in the rubbish skips on the complex.

It would be appreciated in assisting the post distribution on the complex if owners would provide a post-box as it is proving difficult in some cases to get the post under the front door.

The boules group has bought a BBQ situated in the pool area; this is from a small donation given by people attending the Tuesday evening boules night - good competitive fun!

The Board has received complaints from owners and guests about noisy pumps and air conditioning installations; we request these units are serviced on a regular basis to help maintain a tranquil environment on the complex.

An owner found a piece of jewellery on the complex. If anyone know anyone reporting a loss please contact the Administrator’s office, giving details of the item they lost.

We have our annual AGM in October; please forward any proposals you have so these may be included in the meeting.

We wish you all an enjoyable summer.
